Dancing with the Stars!

The new season has started! Obviously I LOVE this show! I'm very excited this season because there are so many good dancers and it will be very difficult to make any predictions. You never know who will go home each week because the public doesn't always vote for the best dancer, just their favorite person in general. This was already apparent last night when Cloris Leachman was not voted off, nor was Susan Lucci for that matter. Here are the Stars for this year. Share with me if you love this show too!

Baby Update

We had our first ultrasound last week! The doctor has my due date marked as April 6th, the ultrasound said it would be April 7th, and I of course am still sticking with my original date of April 10th. I'm sure I will have the baby around April 4th, though, since that is Kimberly's wedding date! Hopefully not, but wouldn't that just make everything more exciting.

I'm 11 weeks along now and starting to feel a little better, I think. I'll have a few days of feeling pretty good, and then a day that I feel really horrible. But I think I'm past the worst of it, so that's good. Sophia will reach over every once in a while when she's cuddling me and pat my tummy and say "Hi, baby." So sweet! She also has a baby in her tummy at times and she's been getting a lot of tummy aches just like mommy. It's so funny how quickly she picks up on stuff. Last night we watched the home video of her the day she was born. She was glued to it. She kept patting my tummy and telling the baby to "Come out, baby." She wants a playmate!

Joeball

No - I do not mean football. In our house it's only "Joeball." And it doesn't matter if we're watching an NFL game on TV, we have to find Uncle Joe "numma eight." So many reasons to love Joeball.

A couple Saturdays ago, Kyle and I headed up to a Huskies game. We tailgated with Zach & Kimberly, and Richie and Marisa sat with us. (They were a little too late to tailgate.) It was a good time, even though there were a few bad calls that caused the Dawgs to lose. At least it was an exciting game - otherwise, I would have had a hard time paying attention. I tend to people watch more than anything. Afterwards Kyle and I went shopping a little, had dinner with Kimberly, and then went to go see Zach & Kimberly's new place where they live. Soooo cute!

What We've Been Doing

We have been having fun the last couple weeks and keeping busy. Yesterday we decided to go to Ocean Shores since the weather was supposed to be so nice. It ended up being a little chilly at the beach - but it usually is, so no surprise there. Sophia LOVES playing in the sand. The water was a little too cold to play in.

Saturday we went down to Chehalis to ride the Steam Train. It runs all summer, but the route has been cut very short since the floods last winter. It was only about a 15 or 20 minute ride, but Sophia loved it. She was looking for Thomas the Train the whole time. She got to sit up in the engine with the engineer before the ride began. He said she was the first kid that wasn't afraid of being up there. I told him it's because she's used to driving a Peterbilt!

Last Thursday, Kristie Meno came with the girls for a visit. Maggie is one and a half, and Taylor is 3. Sophia was having a rough day, but Taylor and Maggie had a great time!

Then Thursday afternoon we celebrated Don & Deniece's 37th Anniversary! We had dinner and then headed off to watch the Joeball game. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!
