Happy Birth Day, Griffin!

We are so proud to announce the birth of our son,

Griffin LeRoy Hussey

Griffin was born last Tuesday, April 7th

He weighed 8 pounds 9 ounces, and was 21 inches long

And the biggest surprise of all... HE HAS HAIR!

The birth went really, really well. I'm feeling great and Griffin is soooo easy. We came home Wednesday and have had a lot of visitors, so I haven't had time to post until now! Sophia loves him very much and is so gentle around him. Kyle and I couldn't feel more blessed. We are all so happy. I'll post more pictures in the days to come.

How the Party Started

And what Sophia has been waiting for

for months - DANCE PARTY!

No Change

Well, I had my doctor's appointment today. And she said there is no change since last week - which is good and bad. It's great because it means there will most likely be no action this weekend during Kimberly's wedding. But it's not so great because it means I didn't make any progress in a week to get closer to labor day. Which is not only just annoying, we hope it doesn't mean there will be any problems with me attempting a VBAC.

My due date is next Monday (April 6th) and my next appointment is scheduled for Wednesday. My doctor said we will wait things out until Monday the 13th of April, and if there is not enough progress by then we may need to discuss scheduling a c-section. Which is disappointing - but not as disappointing as it was with Sophia. At least I would know what to expect. I'll just keep my fingers crossed that Baby Boy will get uncomfortable at some point and decide to come naturally.
