Pumpkin Carving

We had a great time last night carving pumpkins

with family and a few friends.

We were so happy Kimberly decided to make the trip down

so Abby could come to her cousins' party.
Griffin loves his little cousin and just can't get enough snuggles.
Tate and Piper came, too!
Such sweet kids.
Justin, Jill, Lauren and Carson joined in the festivities as well.
Sophia was REALLY into it this year.
She scooped out guts and carved all night!

Risa had a mellow evening and hung in there,

even though I know she was so sleepy, and maybe

a little nauseous too...

He always finds a way to make me smile.

Cricut

So I think I want a cricut. Does anyone have one? Tell me if you love it or maybe if I should just borrow it! :o) They are pretty spendy - but I think I would use it a lot. I have two large projects in mind right now that would almost make it worth the $250... Almost. It can cut paper and fabric to any shape I want, basically. I can make personalized party banners, lots of cute cards, and I want to make new Christmas stockings for our little family this year. And I could save on the cost of embroidering names if I could cut them out with fabric and stitch them on...

Pumpkin Patch 2010

Monday we had a preschool field trip to the pumpkin patch. It was a crisp, sunny, beautiful day! I got some really great pictures. Enjoy!

Celebrating Grandma Karen's Birthday

Puyallup Fair & Rodeo

At the beginning of September Kyle and I took Sophia to the rodeo at the fair. She loved it and was excited to wear the cowgirl hat that was passed down to her from me! I got that purple hat at a rodeo when i was about 4. She loved the rodeo and we had a great day. Things are so easy with just one child, especially a big 4-year old.

She practiced some of the bucking bronco moves after the rodeo.

Then she practiced some cow-milking techniques.

Then it was time for the kiddie rides. She had so much fun!

Lincoln's Birthday

My friend Victoria's little boy, Lincoln, turned one mid-September. She threw a cute Dr. Seuss party for him. I made the cake and Victoria made the cupcakes and other treats. She did a really cute job displaying everything. One unfortunate thing... The blue cotton candy that topped some of the cupcakes deflated before the party. I only got pics after the deflation.

Lincoln and Griffin are very nice playmates.
