Haircuts

Griffin and Sophia both had their first professional haircut last Monday at Jack & Jill's in Tumwater.  I was lucky to have Deniece & Marisa there since it was a holiday.  Grandma treated and Aunt Risa took ADORABLE pictures!  Check out the album on Kodak.  Here are a few of my favorites.

Aaahhh....

I don't remember the last time I had this feeling...  Kyle took both kiddies to watch football over at his parents house for the day and the house is silent.  Sure we have quiet times with the kids here - but never silence.  There's always a baby monitor at least humming in my ear.  And sure Kyle has taken both kids before and given me some free time, but my mind is usually still buzzing because I'm thinking about nursing or napping.  But I'm done nursing, and Griffin is doing very well falling alseep on his own for naps.  So I don't even have a worry in my mind.

It's almost eerie.

We're Expecting....

Our first Godchild, that is!  Kyle and I are honored that Kim & Zach asked us to be Abby's Godparents.  We can't wait to see her next weekend!

There's a Big Boy!

Griffin is already 9 months old and just the cutest thing on Earth.  He can now crawl backwards all over the living room, and stand up hanging on to something - but sometimes he forgets he standing and just lets go and...  Timber!...

Baby Kennedy

Earlier this month we drove down to Beaverton, OR and visited our friends Shawn & Tressa and finally got meet their new baby girl, Kennedy.  Kennedy was about 5 weeks old in these pictures.  It was a fun day - we hope to get down for another visit soon!

First Tooth

Two teeth, actually!  Griffin cut his bottom two teeth last Tuesday, December 29th.   He was a little fussy for a couple days and up quite a bit for about three or four nights.  But now all is well and I was finally able to get a few pictures of them.  His tongue is so busy all the time I can't ever get a shot of his teeth!
