On the 12th Day of Christmas...

Christmas morning...  Does it get any better?!

Christmas afternoon was spent with the Husseys.  Good times and lots of gifts there, too.

I hope everyone else had such a wonderful Christmas!  Check my photo albums for more pictures.

Now it's time to get all of our new stuff organized...

On the 11th Day of Christmas...

Christmas Eve Day my mom, dad, brother & his family come over.  It's fun and the kids love it.  I didn't take any pictures, though, just video!  My mom stayed to go with us to church, but before we left she wanted to try the little apron and chef's hat on Griffin that she got him.  Is he cute or what!?

Then I think she tried to turn him into Pope JPII

After church Sophia set out the milk and cookies for Santa, and after he came he left her a note!

And he left lots of presents!

On the 10th Day of Christmas...

Nutcracker!! We love it and I love to take my niece with us every year. This year we went to Studio West's first production of this ballet and they did FANTASTIC!! It was at the new theater at South Puget Sound Community College on the west side of Olympia.

Preschool girls only stop talking long enough to eat about a half of a cookie, then it's back to the chatter! So cute.

Just pumped after the show. They decided to do a little reenactment while Kyle brought the car around.

On the 9th Day of Christmas...

Oh how I love my morning coffee! Then it was craft time.

Candy houses to give as gifts from Sophia.

Organza/Satin/Tulle flowers as gifts from me. I did five or six of these: silver, gold, white, brown, and pink. They all turned out cute, but I forgot to take pics!

On the 8th Day of Christmas...

Kora treated us all with tickets to see the Radio City Rockettes' Christmas Spectacular! It was spectacular and soooo much fun! Sophia was in heaven.

A late night out for our little school girl. Asleep in the car before we were even out of Seattle.

On the 7th Day of Christmas...

Shopping, shopping, shopping. I found the sweetest ornament for my baby boy on his first Christmas and it looks perfect on his cute little tree.

On the 6th Day of Christmas...

Snow! And the lights are finished on the house.

On the 5th Day of Christmas...

A Christmas cookie party for the Rotter side of the family and a visit from SANTA!!!

On the 4th Day of Christmas...

Time to get things in order. Make a few to-do and to-buy lists, clean the house, and then we finally had to try on our party clothes.

On the 3rd Day of Christmas...

It was time to decorate! How magical it must seem to a 3 year old.

She was so excited to put the angel on top this year.

On the 2nd Day of Christmas...

On the 1st Day of Christmas...

We started wearing our Christmas jammies, and had a photo shoot, of course.

A Haircut at 8 Months!

Griffin is 8 months old today! He had his first haircut yesterday.

Just a little around the ears and that was it.
(and that is a rice cracker, not a bar of soap...)

Just for comparison, here's a picture of Sophia Rose 8 Months.
Definitely no haircuts in her immediate future!

Oh Hey, Abs

7 Months Old

Griffin has got to be the happiest little guy in the world. He is always smiling, laughing, and putting on a show. He just makes my heart swell.
He's starting to push up onto his knees and rock a little, which means crawling will come soon. He is also LOVING finger food!! Baby food - forget it... Bring on the big boy stuff!
