Beach

We went to the beach about a month ago and my best friend Sandy & her boys met up with us to spend the day. I forgot my camera, but here are a few pictures that Sandy took.

First Day of Preschool

What a big day for our little girl. Preschool. I can't believe it. She was so excited, and in good spirits.

I went shopping and ran a couple errands and was back 1/2 hour early. I really didn't want to be late or miss out on picture moments. A few parents needed to stay the whole time, I guess. Most kids were fine, though.

She loved it and is excited to go back on Thursday. She's such a big girl!

A Fun Time at Aunt Kim's

While Kyle & Zach attended the Huskies game last Saturday, Kimberly and I hung out over at her house with the kids for the evening. It was an adventure just trying to get into the house, actually. Kim realized once we pulled into the driveway that she did not have a house key! So we brainstormed for a while and then I offered to scale the roof if one of the upper windows was open, which one was. They have a split level home (kind of like Sandy's and my Aunt Connie's for a reference) so all I had to do was step up onto the front porch railing and then climb onto the small portion of roof in front of the upper story windows, which was not a steep grade at all, and then climb across to the far window. It wasn't too scary, though - just funny!

Sophia is soooo excited for Baby Abby's arrival.

I cannot believe Kim is already in her last trimester!!

Griffin & Sophia had their first bath together.

He had peed all over himself during a diaper change,

so it was actually just a quick dip for him.

Zoo

We had a fun trip to the zoo last weekend. We invited Grams & Cramps to join us for the day. Sophia loves her Crampa!

Baby boy had a great time, too.

Griffin at 4 1/2 Months

Griffin had his first taste of rice cereal this week - yum...

And he's definitely outgrown the bouncy, he tries to reach

over the side for the toys he drops. Not safe.

He always loves bathtime.

Getting Big!

Griffin is just about too big for his bouncy seat and I was getting worried on what we would do without it. Then I remembered... the exersaucer comes next! How soon we forget.

The Big Girl Room

I haven't posted any pics of Sophia's room since it's been "done." It's not really, and I don't think any room is ever done. I still want to shorten her head board so it's not so tall.

A Baby Shower for Victoria

Saturday I co-hosted a baby shower at our house for my great friend Victoria. Her and I attended our WSU teaching program together and became pretty close. I am so excited for the arrival of her first baby next month. It should be a boy and they've chosen the name Lincoln. Sophia is also excited to meet baby Link (or as she pronounces it, "wink"). I made the cake and did some flower arrangements. It was a really nice occasion.

Napavine Parade

A few weeks ago we drove the truck in the little Napavine parade for Hampton Lumber. It was a lot of fun. Sophia loved throwing candy out the window and honking the horn. She was too cute! Griffin loved it too.
