Last week at school during the assembly, Sophia received a Positive Penguin Award for being caring. (The school mascot is a penguin.) The teacher told us a couple of days in advance so we could attend the assembly to watch her receive her award. She was so surprised and just beaming. I was beaming with pride for my cute little school girl. Grandma and Grandpa also came to the assembly. Sophia definitely felt special that day.

How cute! Looking at the pictures gives me flashbacks of when I was a Parkside Penguin. The major difference being Sophia is stylin' in her adorable outfit, as I recall my pics are pretty embarassing... :)
